How to find us
We are located in the beautiful Western Lake District between the delightful market town of Cockermouth (birthplace of William Wordsworth), and the picturesque Georgian harbour town of Maryport (birthplace of Thomas Ismay, White Star Line) on the attractive Solway Coast.

Directions from the South:
Leave the M6 motorway at junction 40 and join the A66 signposted Workington for approximately 30 miles. At the roundabout signposted Carlisle/Maryport take the second exit. Follow this road for approx 1 mile until you meet another roundabout, this time take the first exit signposted Maryport and follow the road for approx 3 miles, the attraction is signposted at the centre's gates.
Directions from the North:
From Carlisle follow the A595 for approximately 24 miles. Take the 3rd exit from the roundabout signposted Maryport for approx 3 miles, the attraction is signposted at the centre's gates. |
